Ok, that's nice too, but whatever we do, we should come to a consensus soon.
I think the idea was to have it done before the Broomfield shows if possible.
I will accept either of these last two designs. Big thanks to Ossumpei, and Volare.

I think it would be nice if you all voted on the flags that have been presented here.
I can't finish the one I have been working on anyway. I have been relying on my niece to do the shop work, and she is buying a house tomorrow, so as you may have guessed, to busy to do the changes I wanted.
This would also keep any one person, in this case me, from having to much influence on the flag. If it is truly going to be a community project, then I guess I've done a share.
Someone else can take the project from here.Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings...-

make it a patchwork and send it along from person to person...if you have a flag and divide it into an even number of pieces then each person can make a square out of their favorite t or artwork sew it on and send it along. won't be ready for broomfield but will be for Furthur tour. might be too jumbled for some tastes though

Is there a way to do a poll on this forum? I was looking, but didn't see the option. I've seen it at other sites.
You know, put up as many options as you like, with a way for folks to anonymously vote on one.I can't come down, it's plain to see.

I would like to see the globe a bit bigger, but in the interest of moving ahead, (and stop my nit picking,
) I vote blue.

I liked the tie-dye. I'm guessing the process became too much, cause I imagine the interest, in this crowd, couldn't be much greater. I'm not sure how the brown and green came into the Furthur color scheme, seems well established. I am partial to the GOGD colors, and whole shebang. That said, here we are, in the time of Furthur, and I like it. It's interesting how the red on the website is a blood red, almost maroon, compared to the fire engine red of yore. Multi-shade blue as well. I appreciate that the Artists of the idea for flag have been so open of their process. Either way it's going to serve its purpose, attract some attention, and bring us together, or not. The open, inclusive process is good to see. I sure would like to see a vine of roses incorporated into this.
Right now, I'm leaning towards the blue for the color appeal.
What can you do with this Dire Wolf?-

I really like both also. I'm leaning toward the blue cause it's really hard t lean towards the color brown. But I understand the brown cause it the color theme of the forum. And I'm going to sit right here until I die-

could we print the green/ brown identical finish as is on this site, it's well organic looking. it's almost like a crinkle. I like the stealies and Shakedown/ Uncle Sam skeletons, and the FURTHUR lettering. I think roses could be tastefully done on the swirls w/o causing distraction, have to see it to know.

Yeah like if we just change the brown to more of a green??? Or..black with stars??? The Rose vines idea is great! What about "Picture a bright blue ball just spinnin,' spininn' free" ????? "a home for you and me" ???
Thanks guys for the time and efforts.. Beautiful!!

I think this flag is looking great. I'd we can maybe do something with the brown or add some roses or something to get away with so much brown that would be cool. But i do like this flag! And I'm going to sit right here until I die-

So, just to bump the poll, it looks like a few of you want to vote for brown. Here it is so far. I like the idea of the roses though.

if this is going to make it to broomfield, I think it is time to start putting the plan into action. Does anyone have an objection to making a last call for designs and saying that in 24 hours we will make the final decision?
I found a place that can make the flag from a digital graphic.
FLS Banners
The cost for a 24"x36" would be $73.30 plus tax and shipping (you can't see those prices till you place the order) so I guess around $85-95 total.
If we can pass the virtual hat around and collect the money, I am happy to place the order and then have it shipped to whomever will be going to the Phil shows in two weeks. The Sailor, coming out again, the lady fairly leapt at him.
That's how it stands today. You decide if he was wise.-

I have been silently observing the progress here and love the direction it's heading.
As soon as I have a suggestion, someone else reads my mind.
I would be glad to kick in $10 toward the flag, and I'll be in Broomfield.
A very big thank you to everyone for their effort and contributions.
One week til Broomfield!Takin' it in stride! -
