that's the one. it is 3 minutes further from red rocks than the courtyard. although i didn't realize internet access is not included. i only suggested it because i knew there was high concern over price. just throwing suggestions out there. doesn't matter to me, i just want to set us all up somewhere, get my room and make my requests.

so looks like the courtyard it is.

sue i've been poking around and speaking with marriott rep's all night. courtyard will do. unfortunately even as a rewards member they can't currently guarantee me the balcony since only select rooms have one but really if i have to get off my ass to go have a smoke, big deal. i reserved a suite, great deal for a room double the size of the regular. includes fridge and microwave as well. same price as that residence inn i was going for except this room is a lot larger. denver west is the cheapest although the most antiquated.

Im trying to make it to Red Rocks again. Id like to meet y'all. Im in discussion with my better half about it. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Lakewood in 2010. The best Hampton I ever stayed in and a decent price too. Its an easy cruise in to Red Rocks. About 10 or 15 minutes. I see I missed the discussion. Can't go wrong with any of those hotels imo.

Just checked flights, not bad, $571.00 St. Croix to Denver. Is everyone getting reserved seats or lawn?

i don't think anybody will have any issues getting tickets unless you hold off. between the three sales nobody will get shut out.

i am gonna go ahead and book my flight, 300 RT from buffalo.

probably only grabbing my saturday ticket today. can wait for the others.

Unfortunately we have decided at this point not to go. After 3 shows this last tour, i just don't have the patience anymore to deal with people at the shows. Maybe it's just cuz i am back in the NY area, but it was all I could do at both Beacon shows to not let other poeple ruin the shows for us. Don't get me wrong, we met some awesome and kind folks at the Beacon, but I really just can't stand a lot of the people at the shows anymore. We had security all over our section Saturday because people have no class or respect for themselves. Repeatedly smoking cigs, seat hopping, phones in the air etc.. This stuff I can tune out, but when security is shining their lights at you and asking everybody for their tickets constantly, how can you tune that out? We had to deal with security about 7 times on Saturday, none of it for us. We are going to do one of the MCU shows and the Bethel show, but I might be done with the small indoor venues and GD related shows. Maybe it's just the NYC crowd? The last 10 years most of my shows have been in the SE, Georgia, Florida etc.. and I don't remember it being that bad. Sorry for the negativity, but Saturday made me want to cry and beat some one silly at the same time!
