The rental RV is new, but still nothing like the Golden Arrow. More like a Motel Six inside (bare bones).
The rental is 30'. The Golden Arrow is 40' and it has an awning and slide-outs.
How big is your RV? Would you be willing to be the shuttle driver to and from the hotels? That would be easier than for us to drive separately and then walk to the lower south lot. I'm sure we could all pitch in and make it worth your while.
I was talking with my wife and we would love to help out as much as we can. We could pick some folks up at the Marriot and drop off after the show. However Friday could be a problem since my wife has like zero vacation time and doesn't get off work till 5. Also on Sunday we'll probably be looking to boogey out of there with school and work the next day. Another thing that could pop up out of the blue is if Phil does an unbroken chain auction, I'll have a real hard time passing on that. Anyways we'd love to help out but, you know, we have all the life obstacles to navigate through as well, being that it's a home town show and not a vacation. I know it's best to have a firm plan set well in advance but if we can play it by ear for a while we will do everything we can to help you all out.
Yeah it's a work out but the key is to take your time there and then it's really not that bad. If you try to sprint in there you'll keel over
