Here is a view from near the RR entrance at the top after walking up the hill from one of the lower south lots (which you can see in the photo) - or maybe that is the upper south lot.... it seemed lower at the time...

You'll see!

I need to make a new batch of edibles and I am thinking about trying something different - have you seen those baby cakes advertised on TV? Like little round donuts on a stick? "Get your cosmic baby cakes"!
I went walkin' out last summer

I do not watch TV but sounds like a cake-pop. I'll take that over a rock any day.

Funny I just posted a cannabis clinic menu under I Love California.
It can all be found there, my friend. And I am sure no tonsils qualifies you for a medical marijuana card!

i am currently making organgic smores using that golden grahms ceral recipe, cept with supastoney butta.

i might bring some to RR to share, but they are kinda of an afta show treat cuase they put you down.

and they are really delicious(ifn you ever made smore with golden grahams you know)
well half of 1 will do you, whole one and youll need/want a nap in few hours, BUT they taste SOOO good its hard to eat just
half. i tried making them less potent, but i like seeing people "higher than they been high skewl"
i actually hallucinated off em once(ate like 4, was the first time i made em) i couldnt walk straight, my eyes kept rolling back in my head, and i felt really really good. lasted all night. dont remember much. other than, being so stoned THE NEXT MORNING, i didnt smoke a cig. till after lunch. this was from 4
youve been warned.

well tickets still haven't sold out --- just need that to last a few more days and I'll be all set...

I'm think I should probably do GA ?

for reserved it was back to row 49 on friday and 55 on saturday so ill probably want to be up a little closer in GA - even the back of the first GA section looks like a good spot

Unfortunately, I don't think Roadtripper is going to bring the Golden Arrow to Red Rocks.

Here's a thought. We could rent an 30' RV from Cruise America designed for 7 people from Friday to Monday for $600, including 300 miles. It would be $700 if we got it on Thursday. With 7 people at $100/person and 6 trips to RR (back and forth) that works out to about $17 per person per trip. And I'm sure we could fit more than 7 people in it. With a roll call of more than 30 we could maybe set a record for most people crammed into an RV!

We could use it as a shuttle to and from the shows, plus a meeting area in the parking lot before the show, a place to keep our beverages cold, our food hot, and our own port-o-john (#1 only). Also, it would offer a shelter from any heat, cold, or rain. Most importantly, it would provide us with a nice high place from which to fly the flag, provided Denverman can bring his flagpole and base.

So FFF, what say you?

I wanted to bump this again, and see if there was interest out there in renting a "home base" for tailgating. I think having a gathering spot, especially with facilities, would be wonderful. Doesn't have to be big, really. I'm more than willing to front the money, or at least a big chunk of it, if it's needed for an initial deposit, if there are other folks willing to organize and do the driving, as well as to eventually split the cost. Just thought I'd throw it out there again, and see what folks thought!

This sounds both cost effective and fun. Of course the devil is in the details. Which includes organiztional skills. For $17 a pop count me in. Side note, should we add a touch more to the price for extra cookies?

Several of us have reserved rooms at the Residence. And they have "kitchenette's". So cooking is possible, and could be fun.

I'm more then up for this idea - I don't have the $ to put up front now but I'm good for it whatever it comes out to. I'm sure I could throw down before sept. just not at the moment.

def count me in!
