Those uneven steps have always been a challenge for me when it is dark and I am in an altered state.

I think people behave differently during daytime vs. night time shows. The cloak of darkness seems to add a layer of magic.

Those slanted ramps. Boy they can be dicey at times.

What kind of magic are we talking about?

Well worth the trip man. We made our first trip last year and it was one of the best places I've ever had the privilege to visit. I had to skip some venues back east to make the trip. It's well worth it.

Hey now George - we'll see you in Colorado brother!

P.S. Your avatar is my all time favorite steal your face. I had a sticker and I used it on my cd case and now I haven't been able to find another one since!

I just saw on the news that Denver hit it's all time hottest temperature ever, at 105!
Let's hope it cools down out there before September. Heck, let's hope it cools down everywhere soon!

Yes, it's hot everywhere. If it doesn't cool off soon my igloo will melt and I'll be homeless

Any locals know of good campsites near Redrocks, That I could dock the ship at? Looking to make this as least costly as possible. Also Sept weather in Colorado what should I expect besides the unexpected?? Thanks cant wait to boogie on down.

redrocksonline.com/VISITORINFORMATION/To...ervices/Camping.aspx

Free camping in Ntl forests, but will be a hike after the shows. Bear creek is closest, but is first come, though you may be able to reserve the yurts. The staff there tolerates but does not think to highly of the RR campers. Chatfield is 10 min down the highway.

Weather, probably 70s-80s during the day, low of 40, r it could be snowing.

I've got you on the list now! There's a ton of Forum folks staying at the Residence Inn and the Courtyard Inn next to it. It's my first Red Rocks trip, and a number of others, as well. Looking forward to meeting you and your wife out there!

Thank you for the warm welcome SunshineSue. We are really excited about meeting all of you as well. How many people are travelling from out of state for the shows?

We have GA tix for Friday but I have not bought Saturday tickets yet. I'm searching for those now.

I think we are coming in on Thursday.

Im curious ticket wise. Ive heard people say its a mad dash for where every you want to sit. No matter where your ticket is for you can sit wherever. Is there any truth to this?

Seating at Red Rocks is a complete mess (IMO). If you have reserved seats, you can still sit in the GA section, However, if you are in someone's reserved seat, you will be asked to move if/when they show up. Reserved seats is the worst idea ever at Red Rocks.
