Roger Waters to Phil:"Touring is the easiest job"

#159376 12 months ago
Steve Croft from 60 Minutes asks why at 68 Waters is still touring and he while he didn't address Phil he explained that a real difficult job is looking after a two year old, not touring. So Phil ,I implore you to get back on the road again!
Seldom turns out the way it does in a song

uhh you are aware of Summer & Fall tour schedule right? and the 130 odd Furthur shows in the last 2 years? only time phil has ever had was during transplant time. Phil rules the universe. hardest workin bass ever.
it would be easy to play the same lines over and over again tour after tour. dude needs to get a real job n leave improvisional music to the Dead elders. lay off the DMT Doc.

i think dr bakes was just poking fun although i really don't know

but to compare the touring life of phil lesh and roger waters is just kind of silly.

hell, phil raised 2 kids on the road
who else is gonna bring you, a broken arrow?

Phil has toured way more in his life than Waters, by a mile. The best thing Phil could learn from Waters is to install a professional sound system like Waters has. It made me embarrassed for Furthur hearing the true mix through a top notch system Waters provided. Incredible. Furthur has a dilluted muddy noise and a lead guitar buried below the surface. So frustrating
