took a nice Trip (pun intended) back to 6/28/74 tonight, or last night. What a great show... the Jam after the Weather Report is one of the best I've ever heard. Dick's Picks 12 is a complete mind melt.... 2 second sets including this one in its entirety, unfortunatley though only about 5 minutes from a 25 minute seastones is on it.

We cancelled our weekend camping trip due to weather and me not being in the mood. I will cook a nice meal tonight, Roasted Duck breast w/port reduction and mushroom risotto. Have to check farmers market to see which shrooms look good. I've been holding a couple of 2007 Gigondas by Domaine St. Damien, they are still babies but i have been patient so I will open a couple tonight which will leave me with 4 left . They will rock though, and hopefully won't overpower the duck. Tomorrow we will take a long hike and have an outdoor picnic with some tunes and more wine before a nap and then the big UFC 146 all heavyweight fight card! Can't wait for that. Rest of holiday weekend is play by ear at this point, maybe Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sunday and a stroll in NYC. Have a great weekend FFF
