took a nice Trip (pun intended) back to 6/28/74 tonight, or last night. What a great show... the Jam after the Weather Report is one of the best I've ever heard. Dick's Picks 12 is a complete mind melt.... 2 second sets including this one in its entirety, unfortunatley though only about 5 minutes from a 25 minute seastones is on it.

I have other sbd sources and listened to the whole show straight through

Since I first heard this show back in 1988, I have fallen deeply in love with it. I used to have the old AUD on cassette, and I played it to death. Thank God for digital. I know that jam inside and out. Still my vote for greatest Dead show ever.

DARK STAR ORCHESTRA 3pm Sunday

At High Noon, we plan to watch the start of the Indy 500 "Gentlemen Start Your Engines", later drive to the Camden side of the Delaware River and take a ferry ride directly to Philly's Penn's Landing Stage to watch the D.S.O. perform outdoors @ 3:30pm. The Weather Report Suite sez: Scattered T-Stones, 50% chance of Samba In The Rain.

I'm working all weekend and staying close to home as much as possible. I live 4 minutes from the beach so needless to say it got super crazy this weekend, I'm not a huge tourist fan, which makes me the biggest hypocrite seeing as I travel somewhere every month just about

We cancelled our weekend camping trip due to weather and me not being in the mood. I will cook a nice meal tonight, Roasted Duck breast w/port reduction and mushroom risotto. Have to check farmers market to see which shrooms look good. I've been holding a couple of 2007 Gigondas by Domaine St. Damien, they are still babies but i have been patient so I will open a couple tonight which will leave me with 4 left . They will rock though, and hopefully won't overpower the duck. Tomorrow we will take a long hike and have an outdoor picnic with some tunes and more wine before a nap and then the big UFC 146 all heavyweight fight card! Can't wait for that. Rest of holiday weekend is play by ear at this point, maybe Metropolitan Museum of Art on Sunday and a stroll in NYC. Have a great weekend FFF

Road trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Took a bit of a circuitous route through Bethel to stop at the site & another side trip this afternoon to Canton for the Pro Football HOF. Driving through Syracuse tomorrow for ribs @Dinosour barbeque then on home to NH. Pass out Tuesday & back to work Wednesday. R-n-R HOF was amazing!
