bobby stated in an interview recently that furthur will from this point forward be doing three tours a year. im not going to sleuth around to find the link but for those that are concerned about it im sure you can find the interview easily enough. not rumor, but fact right from the horses mouth...

fall will be the third and final tour of 2012 until the NYE shows, with maybe an MSG run in november. im sure it will be the same setup next year. bobby didnt say where the three tour will take place, but east coast spring and summer and west coast fall sounds like it makes the most sense. id bank on a three tour schedule from here on out...

That may technically correct but I would hardly call 3 cities a tour.There really was no spring tour if you ask me.

also the Furthur site was calling the spring run a tour so I'm sure that counts in their book, even if it dosn't seem like one to us. If you include Live Oak it was 4 cities/towns and 13 shows so can't be to far away from being classified as a mini tour. Bob's solo tour was only 6 shows in 6 cities but then again I wasn't really looking at it like a tour at the time.

we have 24 shows coming up that have been confirmed...lets get through at least one of these tours before we worry about what's in store for november

edit: I know Bob and Phil aren't done, but I've approached every tour lately as this could be the last one, even though it's not it forces me to prioritize and I found that seeing them is near the top of my priorities so it forces me to see as many as I can.

*As a disclaimer* I'm not saying Furthur is done or whatever anyone could possibly twist it into. Simply saying that as the chances to see Phil and Bob dwindle the percentage of shows I hit increases
