Hey scarlet fire, the transition is mixed. I really like the digital capture process (better quality at higher ISO, exposure precision via histogram) , but I'm so "technology challenged" that my ability to process digital files is a severely limiting factor. I make progress, just very slowly. But I don't see going back to film. So what about you, what do you like to shoot?
I've turned into a much more recreational shooter. Years ago I'd take the tripod into the woods and shoot the flowers and other natural stuff for hours. Lately I just enjoy taking pictures of whatever suits my fancy. I have also changed to digital, I Love that I can shoot away at no cost (to develop). But the quality of my camera has dropped significantly. One day...I'll get some real high end digital.
But I am enjoyin the ride. And I too am relearning how to shoot with digital.
