i have on cd what is called the deads lost last album, supposedly was goin be titled "earthquake country"
it has live versions of what supposedly was goin be on the disc
corinna
days between
way to go home
wave to the wind
and some other stuff that escapes me. mostly west coast 94 and 95 shows that the live recording s are taken from. bought it i a chicago record store in like 96. still have it and it still plays, even though i could download it all for free its a kewl keep sake, even if it is totally against the dead tapin policy, i just knew whne i bought it, i paid like 15 bucks, that i wanted to hear those songs, some of which i only had poor aud. recordings on tape. those were the days, for you these are the days.

You mean this one?
marcap.info/joomba17/index.php/component...-live-in-gjzah-egypt

It really looks like they just did 500 copies as the sticker says.
And it looks like that it was done from people that I know (in Florence, Italy) but they never confirmed even if I know them very well.
They were doing for sure bootlegs but on CDs like those for example:

Is there any chance your friends made the Grateful New Year CD of the NYE show that was broadcast on radio. I bought it from a CD seller at a small German festival back in summer of 92.
Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA (12/31/91)

Comments: Baba Olatungi and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones Opened, Nationwide FM

Broadcast

Hell in a Bucket
Candyman
Beat it on Down the Line
It Must Have Been the Roses
Black-Throated Wind
West L.A. Fadeaway
Masterpiece
Help on the Way
Slipknot!
Franklin's Tower

Not Fade Away
Eyes of the World*
Estimated Prophet
drums
space
The Other One
Wharf Rat
Sugar Magnolia*

Knockin' on Heaven's Door
*not on the CD
Have you ever come across a vinyl copy? Great show.

Never saw a CD or LP of that show.

Other two that I have (7") are these:

In The Midnight Hour (8:50) / Death Don't Have No Mercy (8:10) - Grateful Dead (Koine Records RK20089) A 33rpm seven inch vinyl single inserted in the Italian magazine Ripple (Volume 1 - Dead 1). "Midnight Hour" is from February 14, 1968 at the Carousel Ballroom. "Death Don't Have No Mercy" is credited to 'Garcia, Lesh, Hart' and is from October 10, 1968 at the Matrix, San Francisco. (Ripple c/o Pasquale di Bello, via Del Saletto 1/4, 50142 Firenze, Italy, tel: 055/7877950) Released as a result of copyright time limits expirations in Italy

High Time (5:35) / Cumberland Blues (5:05) - Grateful Dead (Wild Bird Records R890924) A 33 rpm seven inch vinyl single inserted into the Italian magazine Ripple (Volume 1 - Dead 2). These are both listed as from August 16, 1969 at Woodstock, which does not agree with DeadBase XI. (Ripple c/o Pasquale di Bello, via Del Saletto 1/4, 50142 Firenze ,Italy, tel: 055/7877950) Released as a result of copyright time limits expirations in Italy.

and here is a picture of one of them : www.lonestardeadradio.com/45italianripple.gif

I knew Pasquale di Bello, mentioned above, but not very well. Anyway he died a couple of years ago.

About the others I knew (that did the cds linked in my previous post) I can try to get in touch again with them but I don't live anymore in Italy since 2002.
Anyway I think they stopped in doing Cds.
