I just found out this morning that last Friday it was announced Tedeschi-Trucks band was coming to my hometown! I'm stoked! I've never have seen Derek Trucks live and always wanted too!!! And the show I'll be attending is right inbetween the Furthur summer shows I'll be going to so it works out perfectly for me!!!

Anyone else plan on seeing them when they come near you this summer? Anyone seen them and have lots of nice things to say? I have their release Revelator and its pretty good. The band is huge! At least 12 people with a complete horn section. O I can't wait!!!

First time I saw them was at the Norva in Norfolk Va, nice little converted theatre, the only way i could describe it was
"my eyes cant believe what my ears are hearing", Derek Trucks WAILS !!! You will love it!!

I have seen Tedeschi-Trucks twice. Last year at CrossroadsKC and this year at Wanee.
I have also seen Trucks with ABB a couple of times and once in London when he was part of Eric Clapton's band for EC's 2006 European tour.

Trucks is amazing. He makes it look so easy. And add his wife Susan to the mix and you have a wonderful combination.

Do not miss seeing them if you have a chance. Unfortunately I will probably miss them on this tour because their dates that are close to me are during Furthur summer tour.

Found out last night about the Ann Arbor dates. I'm so bummed I can't go, there's a conflict with a major summer gig of Mr. S's.
Please don't ask me to be honest about which band I'd rather be hearing on that particular that night.
