^^ It was a truely special evening, pretty much mind blowing actually. It's amazing how well the orchestra worked with the music.

My only gripe is that it felt really short. The show was barely 2 hours with a set break.. They delayed the gates by about 45 minutes due to lightning (thats right CMAC ... DELAYED NOT CANCELLED ) and the show started a little late and then from the start the show felt a little rushed. Maybe the orchestra has a contract that they are off that stage by 10 or something.

But I still get goosebumps thinking about moments from the show. Warren is the greatest and something magical came from Wolf.

I even met a furthur board lurker It was nice meeting you guys!! We will see you again at the next show!

I had the same experience at the Mann in June. When the music worked, like on Terrapin and Bird Song, the effect was breathtaking. But other songs seemed to fall a little short. I'd like to see Warren try this again, now that he and his arrangers have some idea what to expect.

Love to get my hands on a crisp recording of the RR show. Warren's band and his own playing melded nicely with the orchestra. Vocals were tight. Entire thing was great listening. I think the fact that they didn't do many shows made it more of an event. Crowd was much more "well behaved" than your typical Furthur show IMHO. Smaller crowd enabled listening and hearing the music. Awesome !

I wonder if they're going to release anything official from this tour?
