I'm hoping I can even got on this site tonight. Last night was rough.. I'm a little worried about driving Friday ...
I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

You shouldn't worry. We all know the board speed issues will be in play, every time there's a show, or an announcement.

I am going to try and keep up the setlist tonight. But I may not be able to do timely updates. I'll just do the best I can.

If we end up with an accurate setlist at the end of the show, that's the main thing.

I hope I can stay awake long enough to join in. It's been a hell of a week at work & I'm exhausted! If anyone is interested, I posted a little bit about the Dylan show last night under Music Talk. Chester, looking forward to meeting you at Canandaigua?

Herb Greene ask me to design some lettering for "In The Dark" package, so I came up with a simple font design. The lettering formed an eye-socket shape in the center of the album, which held photos of eyes. On the LP the photos are right side up, on the CD cover they are upside down. Also the single eye photo belongs to Bill Graham. The second LP cover down is a special promotional 12" single with my lettering and picture of the band. The third cover is a 45 rpm cover with skulls in the socket and a bumper sticker they produced. The lettering was used on many things including note pads, and a vast array of promotional items. It was a pleasure working with Herby again.

The "Cool Aid Kid" is just what it is, a kid Drinking Kool-Ade. I do not know why I spelled Kool-Ade that way, a reference to the drug society I suppose. The Grateful Dead were famous for having a lot of LSD around. I tried to do something deffrent with the Green & Brown Colors. Sizes poster 14" x 21 1/8" tall, Handbill 4 5/8" x 7" tall.

This was designed as the ticket all the way I tryed to give it a different look from last years ticket which was tied-Dye design. The gray area is a Metalic Silver as is the Red & Blue lettering. you needed one of these to get in to the show, This was the last Grateful Dead New Years Eve show ever a tradition that started with Bill Graham's New Year Eve show in 1966-1967 alnight bash ever since then Bill had always expected and coerce them in to doing the NYE show, in October of 1991 Bill's death ended that. in August,1995 jerry Garcia died and that ended any hope of that happening again. If you had ever been to one of these it was truely a unique experenice.
