dr bakes Summer Tour (by the numbers)

#272784 1 year, 3 months ago
5 Shows over
6 Days
1,400 Miles Driven
77 Songs performed
1 Morning Dew
40 FFF&Family met
2x Fungal route taken

I had a great tour, but the 1st set at NH was the highlight for me based purely on the performance. To me it seemed like every band member was shinning brightly in unison. Great to meet and hang with you all and see you on tour.

Impressive numbers!

BTW, I'm sorry I couldn't hook up with you at the Mann. A work related issue came up that afternoon and I ended up only having the time to get down there and go in for the show. Maybe next time.

Right on dr bakes. A lot of fun seeing you in Cooperstown.

We flew 3300 miles
Drove 1200 miles
Best food - Tilton Diner in Tilton, NH
Best concert moment - Dancing in the cool rain in Cooperstown.
Best show - New Hampshire
Biggest disappointment - CMAC
Best souvenir - Vermont maple syrup
Best sight seeing touristy thing - Watkins Glen state park

It was a sizzling hot and sweaty time on the east coast. It was a lot of fun seeing FFF. Until next time ... this fall
I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

10 shows - 8 Furthur and 2 Phish
15 days
4003 miles driven
21 FFF met

Favorite seat - Philly front row
Favorite shakedown - Cooperstown
Favorite venue - tie - Cooperstown for nostalgia and New Hampshire for convenience and overall chillness.
Favorite show - Cooperstown
Favorite hotel - Misty Harbor (Gilford)- location, location, location.
Favorite drive - Cooperstown to Gilford via Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.

Best non-touristy thing - relaxing at Ben's family cabin on Lake Champlain after Cooperstown.

Biggest surprise (beside CMAC) - $26 for a double vodka tonic at Barclays center! And they don't even have limes or lemons. Ouch!
Takin' it in stride!

That is an awesome park. I've been there twice. It's almost magical. Good to hear you got to check it out.

Shows: 1
Days: 1
Cities: 1
Boroughs: 2
Distance traveled: 4.08 miles (each way). Total: 8.16 miles
Time traveled: 49 minutes getting there - 57 minutes going home. Total: 1 hour 46 minutes.
Subway stops: 1 local stop 12 express stops. 13 Stops each way. Combined Total: 2 local stops 24 express stops. 26 stops total.
Favorite Venue: Barclays Brooklyn - Air conditioning was a major plus
Best Show: Barclays Brooklyn
Best Food: Fish & Sip - 2 blocks away from Barclays
FFF & Family: 4
Note: Despite the oppressive heat and strenuous travel (including 2 subways each way) the results of all this hard traveling was more than worth the effort. Though I only met 4 FFF members what was lacking in quantity was more then made up for in the quality of the people I met! Fall tour includes Berkeley. All numbers will then increase exponentially.

3 shows

2 venues
100 miles or less from my home

Best show Meadowbrook
Best Venue Meadowbrook (the Boston venue is nice and small and by the bay, but the city cops were lame!)
FFF members met I think six
Best song the Wharf Rat from NH or the WRS from Boston
number of tour naps 3, one for each night

2 Shows
5 days
approximately 375 miles
27 songs
Favorite show of the two, Cooperstown
(And best Shakedown I've seen at a Furthur show in a while)
I saw the only Samson and Delilah, Terrapin st. and Casey at the bat
Plus, an amazing GLORIA!
Two FFF meet-ups. Both lots of fun. Saw over a dozen FFF, and many more old friends.

I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.

6 shows
1600 miles driven
1 Urgent Care visit
2 Chest x-rays
1 diagnosis of pneumonia....and the band kept playing on

Favorite venue - Cooperstown
Favorite Experience - sharing my granddaughters 1st show with her at Cooperstown
Favorite 1st - streaming for folks!
Favorite Crowd - CMAC, I was surrounded by some really cool folks who made the experience all the better!
Favorite physical reaction to the music - goosebumps to Mission
Favorite thought during a show - Hey, Love it when Bobby channels Pigpen (listening to Gloria)
Best Show - Do not make me choose! They all had their moments. Death/Shakedown in Holmdel, ALL of Cooperstown, Corrina jam and the Help/Slip/Stones/Rat/Tower in Gilford, Boston was hard to pick out moments - I was pretty sick, but then the whole first set at CMAC had me feeling fine...
You can't get lost when you're always found...
